Jack Hide and the Christmas Tree

Porque o espírito de Natal baixou em mim...
por dois minutos..
depois ele foi embora =/
Jack Hide was a tiny skinny man,
Living an ordinary life,
Once a year he’d feel alive again,
That was in Christmas time

A carol song he would sing
While hanging socks in the fireplace
For gifts Santa would bring
In the morning of Christmas day

From his window he could see
Snow falling from the sky,
Cookies and a cut of hot tea
To warm him up on Christmas night

On his yard you would find
A evergreen coniferous tree
With and angel, ornaments and lights
Hiding something no one could see

He had a home sweet home
And there he lived all by himself
But still he was never alone
Inside his mind was someone else

Most part of the time
Jack Hide was kind and good
But the evil in his mind
Did things he never would

He invited McLane, an old friend,
To celebrate that special date
In his eyes something has changed
When he realized it, it was too late

“Jingle bells”, he started singing
While going outside towards the tree,
A man lying dead he was bringing,
Victim of a chocolate tea

“You were not a good boy”,
He said looking at the McLane’s face
I hope you’ve lived with pleasure and joy,
If you didn’t, it is too late

Four Christmas nights, all the same,
The evil was then set free,
May, Taylor, Diaz and McLane
All buried under the Christmas tree
by moi, me, euzinha
